Well, I have been holding out, trying to find a place that can bring me in a sheep dog exhaust. But I am at the end of my ropes here. So, I have been looking around for just an axle back exhaust. Thats all I really need. I already have a mandrel bent piping. It's just some **** heads stole my can. But, anyways. I dont want to drop a bunch of money (not more than $120-$150) for a muffler. Well, I was looking on fleabay tonight, and found a few mufflers for a crx. They are the kind that I would assume slant out at an angle. Here is a picture:


Well, what I am wondering is, would this work on my hatch? I kind of like the slant, but I dont know. I also have a WW RS kit, so I dont know if that would interfere. Any ideas would be great.

it'll work as long as you custom pipe it...nothing complicated for a muffler shop to do and they'll be able to make it work w/ your kit....I've got some underside pics of a similar setup from a friend's car if you want to see them, but its really simple...

They have a sheepdog exhaust on there. I used to have one on my old civic, that I picked up from a shop out here. The guy who ran it was big on JDM parts. Bt they have since shut down, and he moved back to Hawaii.

that sheep dog exh looks similar to mine...except mine is a Stomung. and has dual outlets. i had it up for sale on here before but had no takers (well a few) so i decided to keep it. kinda wish you would have carught me about 2 mos. ago.

 

I wish I could get a hold of a hks or something that looks stock but isnt my friend back in hawaii had a sheep dog exhaust but he took it off and got a tanabe racing medallion what a moron he said he didn't like the sound.

 

im sure those massive exhausts will work with your ride, but what will something like that sound like?

I've got some random muffler, its got nice tone but its generic...

My buddy put some arospeed crap on his accord about a year ago, and it sounds like absolutel garbage by now, something to think about...anyone know of a website that has exhuast sounds/motor sounds?

ha it was up fpr sale a in october after i wrecked my EF. but since i p/u the Crx i got it shortened to fit. and let me tell you total sleeper exh there. no one can tell i got aftermarket. but when the power is on...let her rip...

Go with a quieter exhaust, i wish i would have, i have a fireball style exhaust and i cant even hear my self think sometimes. And after a long trip in my car my ears are ringing for like half an hour.
