EF rear shocks on my DA?
I've been on H-T for a while now, but finally decided to sign up and post. I just purchased some springs (H&R Sport), and after a brief inspection by a mechanic, he decided it was also about time for new shocks
. He tried to order me NAPA shocks
, but my dad called me in time to stop him. So my question is if the AGX's for the EF fit the rear of my DA without any modification or with the purchase of new parts? I know, I've searched, but want a definite answer before purchasing them.
Thanks

Yes, they fit, but it will be shorter than the DA shocks, so your car will end up sitting lower. I am going to be running DC/EG shocks on my DA, using EG/DC front drop forks. The rears for the EG/DC bolt up perfectly, so you might try those.

I have been searching, and I haven't heard if there is any height difference from the front to the back with people running DAs in the front and DCs in the rear. Most of the people that have that setup have coilovers, so I am not sure if there is a slight difference in height. It will be a better situation than having EF in the rear and DA in the front though. You could always get KYB GR2s (DA) for the rear and AGXs (DA) for the front.
Well, for this situation, do you think the DA front and DC rear is the best if I want to stay with the AGX's on the front and back?
You could test fit the rears with your stock front shocks. Just put on DC rears, and your stock DA fronts, and see if there is a height difference (or just compare the shock bodies when off the car). If there is a big enough difference, get DC AGXs for the front and find some EG/DC front drop forks at the junkyard or classifieds. I got a set for $10.
Well, I looked at the hybrid DA suspension article. The DC/EG shock is about 2.5 inches taller than the DA shock. And the EF shock is about 1.5 inches shorter than the DA, but the perch is about the same height. So I'm leaning towards the EF shock right now so I can just go ahead and use the stock front fork.
