my check engine light keeps coming on.... I will start the car, and the light wont be on, then as I start driving, and start slowing down it will pop on.... It says its code 17 which is the VSS and my spedometer doesnt work. But at the same time, once I turn my car off, and turn it back on, its not on..... Then as I start to slow down again, it comes on... Somebody please help, im trying to sell my car, and this is happening non stop. Please help!!!!!

 

replace your vss and problem solved. by turning the car off, its resets the ecu. The code you threw is still in its memory(even though the cel is off) but the cel won't come on again until a couple of minutes.

 

already replaced VSS... didnt work... please help....
