89 Accord SEI Dash Lights won't work

89 Accord SEI Dash Lights won't work
Hey,
As silly as this sounds I went out and got a new battery for this 89,(right) but I hooked it up backwards what an idiot. I know.Well when I got it right I noticed all my dash lights work except for the one that illuminates it.check engine,seat belt,oil,cruise control, etc. all work.I pulled off the face/ bezel to check the bulbs they're all good.All the fuses were checked and they're good. So what is it that keeps me from seeing my speedometer at night. Oh Yeah the little illumination over the ac control is gone too...HELP.
