Hy,

I am doing a jdm B16A (JDM CRX engine) swap in my 92 civic EG. Bought hasport cable trany conversion So I can use the cable trany in my EG.

I have the wirring done...everything seems ok.

I am confused when it comes to driveshafts. The engine came with complete drive shafts and intermediate shaft. Should I use them in the EG?? isn't the EG wider than the EF body styles? I also have another intermediate shaft from a 94 integra. What should I use?

I searched the whole internet today trying to find some info.

Help me finish ma swap guys.

use the axels that came with the swap man

use the intermediate shaft that came with your engine....otherwise you'll have to get a new drivers side axel most likely

But arent the 89-91 chassis shorter than the EG's?? The engine kame ou of a crx.!

 

The intermediate shaft should make up for it.

if you don't know....don't post.....why would the haft shaft make up for that????

it might work on one side but it wouldn't work on the otherside now would it??


the chasis are close enough that axel with half shaft from 90-93 integra will work and also axels and half shaft from 94-01 integra will work.....

half shafts are different....
