Dude, just get JDM Headlights, from the right ppl you will get lots of props for the JDM, never for the TYC. Cheap made headlights...

TYC is an OEM replacement manufacturer...they do alot more than just headlights.

I had the black housing versions. they were not much better than stock. They looked good though.

if you dont jump on the JDM bandwagon, people will flame you. Its either JDM or gay. theres a big difference between paying $400 for JDM headlights and paying $200 for OEM replacements. you get mad props from da homies and the feeling that you've spent more money than you should have, but hey, you get mad tite JDM props doGGGG!!!

Aren't the JDM lights beam pattern aimed the wrong way? The illuminate the oncoming traffic, instead of the shoulder. So not only do you blind people, you also kill the deer.

No, they're not. A lot of projector-type lights do though, like on bimmers where they have a beam of light that spans outwards towards the passenger side. There's a name for it too, I just can't remember it. But the the left and right headlamp's beam pattern are pretty much the same for the JDM headlamps. All you do is just adjust the whole headlamp the correct way as you would the USDM OEM headlamps.

The JDM mirrors, on the other hand, are annoying on a USDM (Canadian manufactured) Civic.

Personally, I would have JDM headlamps over anything. As far as HID lighting, the best to have would be the projector headlamps. But to me they're ugly as hell. So in between a more OEM look and non-projector headlamps, the next best headlamp to have for HID lighting would be these TYC (prefer the black inner housing) headlamps. They're pretty much just like EK headlamps on an EG.

but seriously, i wasnt done with that DIY .. but before i could even add to it, all these negative CRITICISM came out.. i mean havent you heard of constructive comments rather than degrading ones?

Ignorant as **** you are, its the quality of the product that also matters and is what i had in mind when i said JDM, JDM style can never be RICE, the reason people get JDM is to get quality parts with a CLEAN look, to make the car look cleaner directly contradicting Rice and not some sparkly "diamond cut" headlights u see here.. TYC will never beat Stanley in quality.
