OK. Today my CEL lighted up!

When I turn IgnitionSwitch ON. CEL flashes 1 short...then 4 long and 1 short. And then keeps doing 4 long and 1 short.

Doesn't that mean it's code 41? Does that one short flash, when I turn ignswch to ON position?

Code 41:
Primary Oxygen Sensor:
HeaterCircuit Malfunction

Any suggestions what should I do or check..?

And of course the car is civic EJ2 -95.. P28 ECU and d16z9 engine

those cel's telling you that the o2 is bad.

 

get a new oem primary o2 sensor and then reset your ecu and you should be good
