This is the AN-R Compact Header with the 2.5 inch Merge Colletor
I would just like to say that my expierence with AN-R.com has been great. Answered all my emails within a 24 hour period, and kept me updated on the header while being made. This header took a little longer than normal, because I had it Ceramic Coated. They had to send the header out, so it took a little longer for me to recieve, like 10 weeks. But I am very happy with it, and I would definitely do business with them in the future. Thanks AN-R
For info on my set-up, Pls click on my sig!!
FOR ORDERING INFO: http://www.an-r.com/headersindex.htm
Here are pics of the header...

I will post DYNO #'s when the car is finally running.

Well, I blew my SOHC about a year and half ago, and I have building this MONSTER of a motor, so I know there will be an HUGE improvement over the SOHC on the "butt dyno." I will definitely post dyno #'s when the car is finally running. I am shooting for 200 Hp.

just a question
see where u have the 4-1 collector...it looks like there has been a piece welded on there to patch it up. I think they may have burnt through it while welding, therefore had to add this piece to patch it. It shouldn't hamper anything in terms of performance.
Also, is this piece stainless?

If you dont mind my asking how much did you pay for that header, also can you put down the contact information so others can get in touch and possibly order a header, much appreciated.

harvardbluehb,
ceramic coating is an additional $200. we use embee performance coatings. http://www.embee.com. we do not make any money off this service. embee charges us $170 per header and we pay for the shipping from and to embee.

i got the same header, mild steel. huge increase in power over the jdm header.. worth every penny! and i agree with the customer service, andrew is a great person to do buisness with
I'm running the JDM 4-1 right now, but i love that AN-R and was thinking about switching. Does that header just bypass the cat, or do you have to just get your own flange made? How does it compare to the JDM???
that looks like realy good ground clearance. Is there a header out there better for ground clearance with same hp gains or am I looking at the best. Definately looks like one of the best that I have seen so far.
My dc header is pancaked cause of ground clearance issues in my EF.

can someone explain the dynamics that make this header so good?? i know everyone rags on DC. but just by looking at it i would say the dc woyuld make more power. the dc has a lot straighter exhaust flow.
im not shitting on an-r's product, ive never tested it myself. im mostly just curious how this header is supposed to make extra power??
