Hi, new here. I am trying to buy a 94 del Sol with 80k on it - what to look for that is specific to the del sol? It is a Dohc vtec manual.

94, hmm check the weather stripping on the roof. I know they didn't start making it better until 95 I believe. 93 and 94 I don't believe came with trunk poppers either.

 

Check for the Imfamous Honda Rust ..
Bring a magnet and run it on the panels to make sure bondo wasn't applied..
check under the car for oil leaks..
Shift through every gear to make sure it's smooth and has no grinding..
Ask the owner the same Questions over and over..
Go over some bumps to make sure the shocks arent blown..
turn on everthing and use all the power accesories to make sure they're in workin order.
