Temporary ls/vtec build up, can I get 13's?
Hey guys, this winter I plan on building a bad *** all-motor 2.0, but I am a very impatient person, so I have come up with a temporary setup to hold me over, and here is the plan. I have a 96 integra LS, I plan on buying a b16 longblock and using all neccacary vtec parts to build the ls/vtec, I also think I may use the b16(pr3) pistons also. If I used a new set of rings do you think the used pistons would be a bad or good idea? I also will buy an itr tranny and manifold, ctr cams and valvetrain, cam gears, vafc, fpr, DTR header, and a J's intake. This motor will also be built with all acl and arp goodies. I would like this motor to at least last me a good year of hard driving, any suggestions? Do you guys think I could hit 13.9 with great driving a drag radials? Thanks for the help guys.
patients is a virtue, dont rush something that you want to be great, if you really wanna do the bad *** set up landon just wait, it will be worth it in the end. just buy a itr head and tranny, do the basic lsvtec, and build the block up exactly how you want it, remember no short cuts in life.
now get on aim and talk to me iskyforlife
