Looks like we're in for some sunny weather this weekend. I'm going to celebrate by riding in the canyons - who's coming??

Here's what I'll be doing - Lower Big T --> Angeles Forest Highway --> Bouquet --> Osbourne

Let me know if you're interested in coming. I'll post up directions to the meeting place. Newbies are welcome, but please wear your gear!!

I wish I was in SoCal right now. It's crappy, rainy, and windy over here. Oh and I'm by no means a squid, if I'm clear on the meaning, but I'm trying to educate myself of the sport of riding. Can or will anyone tell me what AC is?? PM me if you don't wanna post it.

Nah, I'm not worried about the squids. I let them get a nice headstart to clear out the cops, then roll through.

I'm hoping the traffic that goes through the area will clear off any dirt by the weekend.

 

ack...its raining in norcal this weekend. I need to bring my bike down south sometime but I cant stand riding it for more than 2hrs. The VFR makes my old R6 feel like a sport touring bike

 

It's actually been raining down here in San Diego since Sunday. It's supposed to rain for the remainder of the week also......no riding for me

 

Local mountains will be getting a total of 6" of rain before sat... be cool

 

Actually, the forcast only calls for rain thru wednesday up here. i'll be there as long as the sun is shining.

No worries. If I have to, I'll bring a frickin' broom and sweep before Saturday.

 

I'll be scrubbing in my new rubber on the tight side once the weather clears up.

Did you mean Palomar or the Crest? If it's the Crest, a group of us is meeting up at the Shell gas station just below Angeles Crest. We plan on leaving the gas station by 9, so if you want to ride, show up before 9. Look for my yellow VTR and matching yellow helmet (yeah, I'm a nerd like that).

Oh, and we don't hate on Kawis. It's ok if their riders enjoy inferior machines.
