The weight and dimentions of B16-B18-B20
What is the weight of the B16 in pounds and the size from oil pan to the top of the valve cover in inches.
What is the weight of the B18 in pounds and the size from oil pan to the top of the valve cover in inches
And what is the weight of the B20 in pounds and the size from oil pan to the top of the valve cover in inches.

just being curious... what do you need the dimension for and wt for... are you planning to put one of those engine in a specific car or are you just wondering...?
Just to know what I will be dealing with if I get a B16, B18 or B20. I need to know if the weight to power ratios are worth the efforts. The lightest engine to displacement ratio is vary important information before an engine swap. yes I'm going to put the biggest B motor I can build into a crx. But if a 2 letter B16's weight to power ratio is better than a B20, than a 2 liter B16 would be best, But if I can take B18 or B20 and stroke them into 2.5 liter that would be best, but if I have to cut chop and ax up my car for the B18 and B20 then the B18-20s are not what I want, I want my car to look stock from the outside.

i understand what you mean... and let me say b-series motors are one of the best engine upgrades for the crx.... but in your case i would recommend b16... since crx are already light weight any of this engine are a great gain... i know you have to think that you need more torque,w/ torque the greater power output you gonna get... but that is a misconception ...true torque helps... but in honda engine its rpm and hp that make power... the best thing to do is get a b16 for now... if you got the money i would build that b16 up make the displacement bigger... go 85mm bored cylinders so you will basically have like a b18CTR w/ out losing the rod/stroke ratio... remember that b18 & b20 are longer stroke.. meaning you are losing rpm range(not really) ... well realiability when you go pass 7500 rpm... ill trying posting some of the dry wt of the bseries engine tomorrow if i find the link i have seen before.....good luck
