there have been a lot of finger prints on that valve cover, i would be suspicious of the work that has been done to it.
Reverting to stock isnt' that bad. I would see if there has been roll back on the odometer.

If you blow up the picture of the interior, you'll notice that the plastic molding under the rear window looks like it's grey instead of black. It's black in my car, and I can't recall ever seeing an ITR with anything else. It could be the lighting, but I'd ask about it.
I have a 01 ITR and it is grey, the front a-pillers are grey also and the roof.

That stip below the window is grey in my car. I agree, because carfax will not allways show an accident, they say its never been involved in a wreck but with a JDM FE i would be surprised since it being sold so quick. I haven't seen anyone put a lot of money into a car for no reason and then get rid of it. I beleive minor accidents will not show in carfax sometimes.

Oh ya, the engine bay could be dirty from sanding and painting, especially if its been wrecked, but the car does come with a 5 day money back guarantee but that could be a bunch of bs. I'm sure they could get out of it especially if it is sent to Hawaii.

The only thing that I see is worth it on that car is the JDM front end. But the 18's gotta go.

I wonder why they never put the side marker lamps in.....also I wonder if that is a metal or f-glass kit? It's hard to say if it has been wrecked....most likely it has, which is not a big deal considering none of the old front end parts can be used with the new front end. Which means everything was replaced as opposed to being repaired. It looks as though a dealer is selling so my guess is that the car is a repo.

I would go postal if my engine ever got that dirty.

...It's also possible that the CC comments in the ad were a mistake...
I would say that this is the case. A lot of dealer's don't know much about the cars they are selling.

Couple of things:

1. What the hell kind of dealership has a lot like that?? If you blow the picture of the rear end up, it looks like it's parked in front of an old *** garage!

2. Why would they not install the sidemarkers? If it was in an accident, maybe they just bought all the stuff really quick and they are now trying to get rid of it?

3. That engine bay looks EXTREMELY dirty! My SI had 42k miles when I sold it and it was nowhere near that dirty. It almost looks like the car was parked in a wrecking yard for, oh, probably a few weeks while the JDM front end parts were on order??

Also, I live about an hour north of Tacoma, where this car stupposedly is? If you got the information about where he is located, I wouldn't mind going down and checking it out. Plus I'd get to "test drive" a JDM front ITR, a little bit better than my stock 94 LS!!

Send me a private message or email me the details of the location and I'll check it out as soon as I can.
