My Integra has some break fade, Well acually it is bad. I dont believe there is air in the break lines. See when I step on the break, it gets hard then, gets soft and goes closer then closer to the floor? what is going on here? bad Master cylinder?

is it only when it gets hot and after a period of hard use it does that... or it does that immediately?

 

I don't believe that's called brake fade. Brake fade is where you get the gasses trapped between the pad and the rotor so no amount of hard braking gets the car to stop in a reasonable amount of time.

The pedal feel is the same under brake fade, it's just that the car doesn't really stop as fast.

 

isn't that the same as your stock brake lines expanding? (hence SS-lines to "eliminate" fade)

you might posibly have a bad master but if your peddal gets hard(harder than normal) it could be a bad booster.
