get the hasport motor mounts. good mounts to use. if you have the PR3 or PW0 ecu you can use that. you can either convert to mpfi yourself or I have a new hasport dx to MPFi harness that makes it easier for 199.00+core exchange. make sure you have the engine, trans, dist and ecu and axles for the swap. if not you can use 90-93 teg axles but doing so make sure you have the intermediate axle shaft from a xsi motor cause if you have a sir shaft you need to do a hybrid 86-89 teg axle on the drivers side with a 90-93 teg inner joint. let me know what parts you do have and I can assist more

will the engine pyshically fit in the bay without much cutting? I know the hasport mounts make it work for the block to the frame, but does it require much cutting?

The hasport mounts dont require any cutting of the bay. You just have to put a decent dent on the driver side part of the engine bay so the alternator will clear and you have to bend part of the lip of the rear crossmeber so the rear motor mount bracket will clear.
