OK so i just got a 2003 rsx-s about 3 weeks ago (its bad *** by the way, specially after drivin a SOHC del sol :-) NEwayz, the car lot where i got it from had lost the key for the lug nuts that need the key u know. This happened to NEbody?? and does anyone know how to go about gettin another one. Or does any lug key for an rsx work, i doubt it does. Help greaty appreciated Thanx.

 

hey, Ill sell you the whole kit from Acura. Comes with the key -4 lugs and a locking nut. All shipped for 15 bucks.

Dude u must have not really read that. I have lugnuts on my car already....but i dont have the key for the 4 "special" ones. Im wondering how i could get that or if anybody knows if all the rsx lug keys will work. BUMP

 

You have to know your code to your wheel locks. And have to send in a information slip to the comapny and they will send you a new one for $10. You are better off buying brand new ones. I broke my wheels key and I had to pound off my wheel locks. So now I need to buy new ones.

It comes in the package when you buy the wheel locks. It is pretty much impossible to get a new key if you don't have that code and you have no real way to get ahold of that code. So your best bet is pound them off and buy new ones.

 

Theres no code on the package. Take your car up to ur local Acura dealer and tell him you lost the wheel key, they should have a master set, and they can match one up for you. Theres like 12 diffrent ones or somethin, and the code is by color. Had the same thing happen to me.

its like 15 bucks. tell them that you lost it, theyll order it if they dont have it (they probably wont) and then tell them just to put a non-locking lug on your car. hopefully theyre as nice to to you as they were to me

 

There are 12 different locks, all coded by color. The only way to get a new one is to go to an Acura dealership, get them to match it with their master set and prove that you own the car. Simple as that.
