So just to let everyone know, yes I did search the posts first before asking...
I have an 89 hatch with a d-series block with si head, si intake manifold, and si header, matched with an si tranny. Now, my problem is this, when I'm in second under throttle everything is fine but if I try to put it into second under hard throttle it slips out of gear and also slips out of second as soon as I start to coast. It doesn't do this in any other gear and I'm not sure what to do and the local shops won't look at it without charging me an arm and a leg just to look. A small second problem is heavy smoke under throttle, maybe valve seals? I know its not leaking from the head. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

:edit: The clutch is an Exedy clutch with lightened flywheel, only been on the car for about two months. Only dragged with it once. (at the track)
