Default The heat of the Prelude..?#!

I have a 93 lude vtec, one day is was driving down the block to talk to a friend. He came stood aside the my prelude, he said "damn you car is hot coming from underneath the car." I step out and i felt it also, it was like HOT..like your standing next to big heater machine feelin hot air from toe to head.

IS this normal for all prelude? Or something's wrong with my car?

you shore the air flow isnt clogged. check if u have enough water.

The water are good since i fill em, and my temp gauge are normal. Hopefully this is normal and won't hurt my car. Ohh! and yeah, everytime i fill or top the water on the radiator and add coolant in the reserve bottle, i notice it's empty. Does it mean there's a hose leakin becuz i don't see any wet spot anywhere..

mine blows hot air on hot days when it warms up a little and after i park it the cooling fan turns on. it blows hot air out from under the car... that's what it's supposed to do. If it wasn't on a warm day though you may wanna check out little things... make sure you don't have a leak somewhere or make sure your radiator cap looks ok and the sticker hasn't been broken.

you might also wanna check your thermostat cause one day i was driving normal and felt my feet getting really hot and the bay was really hot but the temp guage didnt show that it was hot. Then it started steaming from under the hood where the radiator was boiling over. I took it to Goodyear and they replaced my thermostat cause it wasn't working.

as a side note...always run more than one radiator fan. the previous owner did not and it almost cost me alot.

Yeah i had the same experience like getting my foot hot around the lower area of the pedals, even in the moring and night when its not hot i can feel my foot warm even i had the temp in cold. I just recently changed my thermostat and installed a new radiator. this is weird dude..
