Default Oil pressure gauge hookup on a DOHC ZC?

i was wondering how i hook up my oil pressure gauge. does the oil sender on the back of the block just go to the dummy light on the dash board? or does it have more uses? if it just goes to the dummy light then i'll just unplug it and plug in my aftermarket oil gauge.

If by unplug, you mean unscrew and use another sender, yes. The one there is merely a pressure switch, on/off. All it goes to is the gauge cluster light.

1/8" BSPT. 1/8" NPT will work though ok though. Don't tee it at the block!

Please don't use an npt thread. It's not the right one, and I think most of the "don't T off the block" stuff was created by people putting the wrong threads in the block. http://www.tunertoys.com has a fitting with the correct threads, and it will give you two outlets to do whatever you wish with them, or plug them.
