Everytime i shift 2-3 the shifter or transmission grinds, and the same thing happens when i shift 4-5. i have no clue to why that is. My friend said that its my shift bracket for the shifter under the boot. Any help would be appreciated

 

your synchros could be gone...have you tried replacing your transmission fluid? a lot of people with the 3rd/reverse grinds use gm synchromesh friction modified to get rid of the grind. do a search in the archives for 'synchromesh'
