I wonder how good they can match the factory body paint color and the kind of glossiness you get from factory paint. I have come across so many aftermarket paint job, and even the so-called claimed to be the best still can't really get that shinny glossy factory paint look. Is that normal?

when i first got it out of the shop the fenders had way to much blue pearl in them but i went back and they fixed it, they pretty much painted both sides of the car to make it match but they fixed it for free no hassle

anytime a shetmetal part is replaced
the adjacent panels should be blended
so for your type-r convo the doors would be detrimmed and painted also
but if you have a 3 stage paint job, it cannot be blended ;and
multiple adjacesnt panels are painted for example the fender the door and the quarter...
