Du pont and PPG are both good but im going to be using Du Pont when i paint mine. As for colors, i havent seen any ek's in the s14 240sx Seafoam Green yet, Love that color.

sherwin williams is good **** man! better than PPG and Dupont. if you dont wanna use sherwin williams, id pick ppg as my second choice. usually a good complete paint job consists of 3 base, 3 clear. i would paint it the same red.... save future headaches... it's gonna be a new paint job you're gonna be astound no matter what color... but i recommend stickin with stock color. prep is the most important step...

^^ good point. Red would be a safe color because you already know how it looks and your engine bay wont look wack. And it can't be said enough, prep is the most important part.

haha..thats the point..i dont like red..
wished i coulda gotten a silver,black,green..etc.
but i just dont like red on ek's...too common.
my engine bay has been painted a flat black already..(universal for any exterior color
and the interior is gutted ready for paint also..

Shut up and paint your car. You wanna paint my Mugen lip when it comes in too? Haha.

Paint it ***** pink with red flakes. MAD JDM son. Haha

My brother painted his car with Sherwin Williams paint though. I'm pretty sure you saw it so you can vouch for that.

With dupont you almost have to do at least 3 coats of color with dupont paint (it can be transparent sometimes). 3-4 coats of clear is plenty especially if your gonna colorsand and polish for that glass look.
