Hi how do I remove the VSS from a JDM H22A manual lude? I can get to one of the bolts but the 2nd 1 is obstructed and I can't get a socket on to it...

use a box wrench

 

take off whateveris in the way.

 

Ignore the bolts that are facing away from you. It's the long bolt that is next to them and that is easily accessible, that's what you got to unbolt to get the VSS out.

 

yes cause there are three bolts on there. The one you want to undo is the one that sits lowest to the trans if that makes any sense to you!

 

I was thinking it was only 2 bolts, there is a piece on top tha twill come off, dont take it out .. you might loose the little pin that goes inside ...

I assume the air filter is already disconnected, reach on down there and feel for the bolt .. use extensions and a small ratchet, you can get it out ...

if you dont have a helms, buy one now .. the diagrams help a lot.
