I just got 2 drag radials for a wedding present (tool shower) how many miles are they good for? Or should i get a extra set of rims and use them for special occasions.

 

No mileage warranty, as it is a purpose built drag radial. Even under normal driving conditions, I wouldn't expect it to last much past 10-15k (If that). Very soft tire.

 

I wouldnt expect them to last near 10k. Depending on how many miles the car is driven, and if its your only car, or just a weekend car etc.

I would think that if u dont drive the car everyday, maybe just weekends/track events, it could last you an entire season (april-nov) (assuming u put on less than 5,000 miles.)

If you drive the car daily, as your commuter, then i would def buy another set of rims so u can throw them on whenever you are planning on doing some aggressive driving etc.

 

i have about 2500 miles on mine(BFG drag radial 225/50/15) they are down to the wear bar but still has a good bit of useable tread on them. im just gonna guess and say 3000 miles and they are gonna be done. these tires were on the car all year, and raced on a good bit also.

 

There u have it, if your car is a weekend warrior like i said, then u can get a season out of them.

DontBlink put 2,500 miles on them and I know hes did alot of racing on them, and probably some spirited driving.

DontBlink, is this your first season with those tires on all the time?? Im asking for comparison purposes, like how many miles would u get out of a soft street tire like 250-280 treadwear. Maybe 5,000??

Thats what i was getting when i drove my car everyday and now my car doesnt see near as much street time. (about as many miles as yours does and i was wondering if i could get em to last a season aswell, also they are under less power )

 

btw are u a real chaplin?? If so how weird is that, being a chaplin, and having friends that by you drag radials.

Just having friends that buy you drag radials is crazy enough, then i looked and seen your a chaplin.

 

Theres no where in the Bible that says Christians cant race Honda's Yeah im getting married in Nov and while my fiance was having her shower my boys decided to throw my a tool shower. I got two drag radials, a magnaflow oval es and a couple tools There all Christians and believe what the Bible says in Luke 6:38 " Give and it will be given to you good measure pressed down andshaken together" Basically the more you give the more you get back. Being a Christian is alot cooler than most people think Jesus said in John 12:47 "for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world"

yah you can get about 4-4.5K beating the **** out of them before the belts show.
