Forced Induction vs. Home Theatre? Which did I choose?
The past 6 months I've been scrimping and saving for a turbo build-up for my EM1 and it appears I'm going to have to start from scratch on that plan
. My brother works for an electronics retailer and got me the hook up on something I've been wanting for a long time: Home Theatre
Even though I got a hell of a deal I still had a budget I had to stick to. Regardless, I think we pieced together a pretty nice system. Let me know what you think and if you would've made the same decision or gone ahead w/ the turbo plan. Setup is as follows:
-Harman Kardon receiver
-Harman Kardon progressive scan DVD player
-Bose Accoustimass 10 surround w/ powered Subwoofer
-Hitachi 57" widescreen HD TV
-All Monster Cable component wiring

I did the install over the weekend and let me tell you the Bose sytsem kick some serious ***. I listened to quite a few different setups and IMO nothing comes close to the Bose/Harman setup for the money. Having the cable guy come this week to hook up the HD. I can't wait. FYI my component rack is on B/O that's why all the pieces are just stacked on each other like that so no flaming. Comments/Flames welcome so let's hear 'em. Did I make the right choice?

home theatre all the way, you can survive without a turbo u cant survive without a good home theatre system, good choice of products too, and by the way for those who state red sox will win u might just want to stop wasting your time watching the games cause they arent winning!
