in your case, the motor probably wouldnt run. u even went as far as to spell vtec incorrectly...

sadly, i was a dealership the other day looking at s2000's, and a prelude, at a HONDA DEALERSHIP, had VTECH written in bold letters ON THE WINDOW STICKER...

Get the **** out. Its VTEC you n00b.

(And go to the store and grab the new Sport Compact Car mag, it has a detailed article on a DIY LSVTEC conversion, and search for christ's sake.)

LOL! you can build a better engine than anyone on here...lol! you don't even know how to find your compression, let alone how to spell it. You have a long way to go as far as engine building, and I suggest you spend your first few months on honda-tech listening to what people say. There are some very knowledgable people here that don't need someone with 14posts telling them he/she can build a better motor.

You need to factor in a lot more than the block and head for compression, unless you leave it stock. In which case we will all laugh at you even more when you blow your motor revving to 8k on a stock ls bottom. Oh, and v-tech is a cordless phone, vtec is something you probably couldn't begin to tell anyone about b/c you don't know how it works.

I'm not going to be the first to tell you this I'm sure and I'm typically not one to bash...but that's an INCREDIBLY ARROGANT statement to make. There are people on here who are twice your age and that have been building engines for 10+ years. You not only disrespect yourself but those that TRULY know what they're doing. You WILL be laughed off of this site...next time you decide to show your ***...make sure you're in a room with people who A) GIVE A **** and B) DON'T KNOW YOU'RE FULL OF ****....f*cking clown .

BTW... Vtec - V (vee) Tec (tek)

Dude, I don't really need to explain myself on this one, but I had to read your reply about three times to figure out it what it said. And yes, people have done ls/vtec setups with B16 heads, infact the majority of them do. It's a cheaper head and easier to find. As far as compression, if your so smart and sooo fast , then you should be telling us the compression, although its obvious you don't know how to calculate it. "Compression for Dummies" can be found at c-speed.com, or if you were to locate the search button you will find a few sites created by fellow honda-tech members.

I would normally pay little attention to your ignorance, but I'm not going to take motor building advice from someone who can't write with at a highschool (borderline middle school) grammer level. If your going to try to bash people on here, I suggest you have something to back it up with. If not, just spare us all the stupidity and LEAVE

oh, and congratulations on enlightening us with your lame *** explaination of how VTEC works, although you couldn't spell it.
