Default So who's car is ready for NHRA Pomona??

Mine isn't.

I broke a DSS Stage 5 a couple weeks ago. Got a replacement in a week, and I come to find out I busted the tranny case at the same time. Then I find out that JDM H22 LSDs don't fit in USDM cases. My new tranny is supposed to be done tomorrow, we'll see. It's supposed to rain here through Thursday too. Oh well, it wouldn't be my first time working on my car in the rain outdoors. Anyone else's car in worse shape than mine? Come on, I know someone will have a story that'll make me feel better. I hate last minute sh*t. I can't wait to get back out to Pomona though.

Tyler

I hear ya....we are working on the car right now and taking advantage of the dry weather. Motor swap is almost done. Hope to be a racer at Pomona and not a spectator but we are keeping our fingers crossed. Good luck!

I remember lining up againg you at the street legals in my d16y8 turbo'd crx (the blue one) thinking, "this guy looks like a runner". lol. I'd been beating up on mustangs and v8's all day and I needed a reality check I guess.

Me 13.84 Tyler 11.(low)

I guess, thanks for the check. lol.

This rain stuff is kicking my *** in. I have to work on the car outside because the other car is in the garage and I can move it out.

You wanna talk about having problems one right after another? damn!
It is going to come down to the wire, literally! Still need to wire and put the topend together and get the exhaust done.

Now it is suppose to rain until Wed. !!!! Rain Rain GO AWAY !

i read the rules too and saw that. but my friends car has passed tech in NHRA like that and hasn't been sweated. this will be my first time running the car and it has been a long journey to get the car to this point. i definately do not want to be turned away.

should it be welded around the fuel cell?
