toyota truck with a supra motor....

i saw a post on this like last year, wondering if that trucks still around and what kinda times it has pulled, i think that person is on the board, pics? specs?

yeah...I think he went low 10's with the stock tranny and it gave on the next run. He has now sold it to a guy in PA I think

amazing what a little searching gets you.

"supert" and "theshocker" used to post about this thing all the time.

Man what I would do for some pics and info. My 92 is begging to be
swapped, I just dont want some crazy undrivable race monster.

Nicce, i remember seeing a mitsubishi truck i think it was with a 4g63 swapped in it.

If it's the same guy i'm thinking, the guy's name is Dave and the setup is as simple as pie. Old school Toyota truck (not sure of the exact model), 2JZ-GTE swap, big turbo (T-70 or so) and a Glide.

I don't think thats the truck he's talking about.

Dave from what used to be Super-T Motorsports had the 2JZ Toyota truck that ran 10s. His website doesn't work anymore, but thats because he had some business issues.

PM "TheShocker" like someone else already said, he knows Dave and can probably get pictures of the truck.

I used to have pics of it when it was for sale.......Ask Boogie_Down_Brown73 if he still has them lying around somewhere, he's the one who sent them to me.

yeah Dave is local to me here in rochester,MN he owned a shop and did some work for my brother and I but he closed up shop. That truck was pure sex. Street driven quite a bit and he came out racin with us a few times. My brother even lined up with him just so people could get a show...pretty sick guys. Ill see if I can find some pics around somewhere.

PM me on what you need to know. I have done a few swaps and im in the process of doing one in my daily cruiser. To get the 2jz in there its a bitch. The 7mgte is so much easier since you already have a Supra trans in the truck from the factory.

actually i don't have the pics of that truck anymore. i got the pics from here. i think it was a race in st luis or something like that at the beginning of the year.
it really wasn't a big event . so i'll do a search for it and see what i come up with.

the truck had a 2jz glide, and if i recall....at this particular event the guy broke an axle, but before that he ran a 11'sec pass or so....with street tires no slicks or drag radials.
