Yes, but seeing that the dip stick in the in middle instead of on the crank side, I would say it's a D15B (ZC). Plus it says ZC on the valve cover.

I had this motor in my Civic before I swapped it out.
It's still sitting in my garage and I can vouch for the fact that it's a JDM D15B VTEC.

like i was saying mines is actually stamped zc and there is no sign of d15b on the motor and im sure it is a 1.6 as well. u guys brains are so small. to think that u cant believe that that motor is a zc vtec motor. i will post pics tommorow of the engine i put it in a delsol and i will show the badge and everything its not a d15b....
why dont u look at where it freakin says the name of the engine,
if it says zc.. hmm i'm guessing its a zc,
if it sayd d15b then yep.. probly a d15b..
if you dont know where to look, thenfawk man,
its a little plaque below the header and to the left, on the block.

It's a SOHC VTEC ZC, which is pretty much identical to a D16Z6. That valve cover design is circa '94-95.
And yes, SOHC VTEC ZCs existed. Every 1.6L D-series engine in Japan was stamped "ZC." There is no such thing as a JDM D16. Thus, there are various "ZC" engines, ranging from DOHC non-VTEC carbed, to DOHC non-VTEC PGM-FI, to SOHC non-VTEC carbed, to SOHC non-VTEC PGM-FI, to SOHC VTEC PGM-FI.
You can even see the block stamp says "ZC" - it's a bit blurry, but look closer. Hell, the damn block stamp and serial number are written on the valve cover . . . duh.
