on a 88 CRX SI i have a b16 motor in and i need a whole new harness cause the shop i had it at chopped the **** out of it so im wondering if a 90 will work fine without serious mods? and if it does need mods what kinds?

 

I have a OBD O B16 in my 90 CR-X si I used the Si harness without any mods it worked fine

 

Just re-iterating, yes it will work.

But man, I would get my car out of that shop if they could not work with the previous harness.

90 Si harness does not fit 88 Si - the connector on the driver's side at the firewall is a square 6 wire connector on the 88 Si and a round 8 wire connector on the 89-91 Si
