Default Who is actually hitting 12's in full interior TEGS with allmotor B series ??????

I 'm just doing some research before i swap in another motor in my 2nd gen teg!

Since it will be my daily driver for another year ( until i get another car )

i cant rip out the interior !

Obviuosly i need to run on pump gas ,94 octane is max i can get !

I'm thinking

B18c1/c5 bottom end resleeved to and bored to 2.0 L

compression around 11.7,

Toda B cams , Toda valve train, Toda cam gears,

Hondata, injectors and AEM wide band o2 sensor to tune,

headwork ,etc,etc.

You will want higher compression for those cams. To really take advantage of those cams you will need at least around 12:1 compression.

So i guess not many !

I dont want to really put this set up in a Civic,

For sure displacement would have to increased , but i dont want to run 12:1 + compression for a daily driver !

The good thing is i work for Honda though !

I work with a guy who had a built GSR in his integra. It was gutted but ran 12.7 I believe. Probably still good for 12s with an interior and some better cams (s2s2).

LOL, ok dude you bore it to raise the liters to, you do it by makin that thing you call a cylinder wall bigger and puttin a bigger piston in there.... that makes more discplacement to......

Yes. 220whp to 230whp should yield high 12s.

So is a high 13 second run now considered a 12 second pass?

WTF is "Fuill"?

Aside from:

High compression ( no more than 12:1),crazy cams ( Toda B ) ,valve train, cam gears, ecu up grade , after market intake, head work, lots of tuning, Honda Data, etc, etc.

An Integra needs more torque off the line to make up for the extra 300-400

lbs it has over the civics/crx .,but resleeving (2 L ) cost about $1000 plus pistons !!

I'm also I'm worried about the longevity of a motor like this being high strung
on the weekends either doing 1/4 mile or lapping, I would like the best of both worlds but i would also like this motor to last at least 50,000 miles. (minimum)

13 second passes are achievable and it will be still reliable, but 12's are
way more $$$$$$$ and reliability goes out the window ???

The good thing though is

1) i work for honda
2) I have full access to CNC mills and lathes
3) i Am also a CNC programmer and machinist
