Nooby question: how to take off hood
i tried searching but the search engine is not working. I was wondering how to take off my hood on my 98 accord coupe. What are the sizes of the bolt stuff like that. Thanks
um how about getting a friend and grabbing your sockets/wrenchs. then, in a moment of ingenious thinking, try a socket/wrench until you find one that works. believe it or not this does work
anyway, there should only be a couple bolts that hold the hood to the henges....the s.o.b is heavy so have someone help you. its taking a hood off.... its tearing down and engine and rebuilding it.
good luck

thats bs. i swapped a few hoods and never had to mark them. they line up fine. its swapping doors that is a pain to line up.

depends on the make and model for the hood

Seriously though its called a crescent wrench, all the bolt sizes you'll ever need (except for allen wrenches, line wrenches, spark plugs, and Torx but...you wouldn't know about that yet)!

A crescent wrench won't work you jackhole. Use sockets and a socket wrench and just take it off. period
