as far as oil goe, i would wait to put in synthetic, it's a bit pricey, and you never know if you might need to drain it out to do something. use castrol syntec blecnd, and then first oil change time go full synthetic. Also, I recommend a fram filter. K&N are good, but too pricey.

Use synth if you want im gonna run synth when i finish my d15b swap...use OEM filter s2000 filter is bigger if you want more flow, i dont think the z6 dizzy will work and use OEM wires and plugs...get timing belt for a d15z1 (vx) and id get a clutch while the trans is off (if it is) i recommend exedy organic not too expensive good bang for the buck

make sure that your harness and ecu is usable with the new head. Change your water pump while the motor is in shambles, I would change the clutch too while trans is out(already mentioned), I got an exedy with pressure plate for like 130 shipped, and it works great (ebay). As far as oil and filters go, I would use standard oil for the first 3000 miles just to be safe, and I would use the correct HONDA oil filter.

it may work...it is an OBD1 vtec dizzy, the only problem i coud think of is maybe the shorter deck height on the d15 head but i dunno...good luck

change the clutch if you have one with you. I dont think the d16z6 dizzy will work. I tried my d15b7 and didnt align right. spark plugs and oil filter are the same as d16z6. 6 quartz of oil, brake fluid to bleed clutch and coolant.
