96 civic what else has constant power?
sup, Im installing a new radio in the car and for some f'in reason theres no power running to the memory of the radio. I figured this out cuz I tapped the memory cable to the cigarette lighter and it worked. So instead of using the factory memory line where else can I splice it to for constant power?
look for the fuse, your stock wire should be working. try hooking up a multi meter
if not, an idea is run a wire off the battery

Is there a seperate fuse for memory, cuz the radio fuse is fine. I can hook up power and memory together and it will work. Just don't want to have to progam the radio stations everytime I get in the car. Other than the battery is there a location closer to the radio. I hate running wire through the firewall.

</TD></TR></TABLE> Yes its the 7.5 amp one in the fuse box in the engine bay, that said, if the HU,[like a lot of new highpower HU ] needs more power then 3 or 4 amps then you can go to the incar fuse box and use the constent power free pin term., if you need more then 10 amps, run power to batt.

Or Ign harness. It's closer. Just fuse your line and solder your connection into the wire.
