how can I tell if I still have the SRS sensor in my front bumper?
I bought my '94 Integra back in April, w/ a JDM conversion already done. I recently decided that I would like to get rid of the Momo steering wheel (even though I like it) and get the stock Integra SRS (airbag) steering wheel (which I already bought, not yet installed). anyway, I was just wondering, how do I even know if I still have the SRS sensor in the front bumper? I mean, what is the point of installing the stock SRS steering wheel if their is no sensor to deploy it. also, when I changed my gauge cluster I noticed that the yellow harness in the back of it (which I believe to be SRS) was unplugged. any comments or suggestions on this?
As I understand it, the SRS unit is nestled behind the center console. I have no idea what color the SRS connectors are but yes, you will need to have all connectors plugged in to have the SRS bag to deploy. Just hope you don't have to find out the hard way.
dude, there is no SRS sensor in the front bumper.
how do I know?
I did my own JDM conversion, there is no sensor in the bumper.
Also, when you put back the stock SRS wheel, you will need to reset the SRS memory and put back the SRS bulb, if the previous owner took it out.
Anyway like I said no SRS sensor in the front bumper, and not even in the bumper support bars too for that matter.

Yeah, no worries on this. Honda doesn't put the sensor in the bumper, it's actually somewhere behind the dash.
how do I go about resetting the SRS memory? also, is there any danger in installing the steering wheel myself, as there are always warnings about the airbag accidentally deploying. lastly, should the yellow harness in the back of the gauge cluster be plugged into the gauge cluster again? thanks again

i dont know how to reset the memory, but just pull the battery negative and the srs fuse while your working on it and it wont accidentally deploy. also, that yellow plug is for the srs light in the cluster. the other owner unplugged it so he didn't have to look at that light, but once you get your srs all back together, it will probably go away.
