Default price for gearing

hi i just pull a y80 tranny from a wrecked civic. i dont know if its bad or not and i dont feel like putting it in my car to find out. i cracked her open and found out that its a ls tranny. weird thing that the gsr and ls have the same tranny code. i have a gsr now same code. but any ways i wanted to know if anyone could give me ball park figure on how much it would be for: gsr 3-4 installed, and to checked if anything else is fucked up. my friend told that it looked like the guy was running nitrous on it. you think that i have to change everthing. im a little impatient and i cant wait till monday to find out any help would be cool. thanks

I dont know how your friend could tell if someone sprayed on a tranny.Thats like saying"From the looks of it,this used motor oil came out of a 350hp turbo civic w/440 injectors"

Since you already have the tranny out and opened up,I wouldnt think it would cost over $200 for a rebuild...But the rebuilder may not want to finish a job that you already started. I know I would be hesitant of putting something back together if someone else took it apart.
The parts will be pricey though.Synchro sets are about $250-300 alone!

My friend saw were the bottle was drilled down, recipts for nitrous fill in the glove box, and he also found the pins to hold the bottle to the brackets. But anyway all I did was take the case off to it and that was it. I counted the teeth. So I looking to spend $600 to have it rebuilt. Not bad. I could get a used one for that much but it wont have brand new parts in it
