225/55 yes, 225/45 not noticable.

It's the tire diameter result that will give you a clue to if it does or does not?

yes...

if you throw on those 225/45/16 tires, you're speedo will say 100mph when you are actually going 102. so like i said its not noticeable. especially because stock speedometers aren't even that accurate anyway.
