Default New Honda

Hello,

I just purchased a 2004 Accord EX, and I was thinking of installing an intake... I have found many options out there, AEM, Iceman, K&N... Does anyone out there have a preference and an explanation as to why? I have used K&N and Iceman in other vehicles, but was wondering what else was out there and if Honda owners had a preference for their car...

Thanks

They all basically do the same thing, and that is to eliminate the restrictive piping that comes stock on all types of cars. Aem, Iceman, and K&N all want you to buy there product so they say theirs is the best. I guess most honda owners use AEM I put my stock intake piping back in because I got sick of how loud it was, but to each his own.

I tend to care more about the filter, rather than the piping used. I've jimmy-rigged a lot of intakes, but I always use K&N filters.

I have a 94 and love my aem cai. As it has been said to each their own. Performance.. I noticed a very nice increase in power- (not huge but noticable) and I did not see any decrease in MPG..
