Imagie how nerve racing it is, you are so close to making a record and so is another guy and you know they both wanna be the first to do it.

I will try and answer all the questions that I know are going to come up now.
The car is and 88 CRX with a B20 running 225/50R15 G-force drag radials.
Bottom end is stock bore with Golden Eagle sleeves, JE pistons, Eagle rods and has been O-ringed.
Head is a stock casting unported with stock valves and crower cams, springs and retainers.
Turbo is 60-1 hi-fi ball bearing.
Skunk 2 intake manifold with a 70mm TB.
Engine management is Haltech E6K.
Transmission is an LS with stock gearing and a quafie. (sp?)
Car weighs 2300 with driver. HP is somewhere around 450-470 and torque is 370 on the dyno.
Yes I know that everyone says that the LS tranny sucks and that you need a vtec head but I am to the point where I really dont care what they say will and will not work.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for me. The last run today I broke one rocker on the number one exhaust and the intake cam jumped on tooth. Should get it fixed tomorrow morning and be ready for 1st round eliminations.

Actually it kinda makes sense. If you have the long gears of the LS it might not blow off the tires down low where you are hurting for traction.
I saw the setup at St.Louis and it is a very simple setup and very clean. Get some 10's today

Good luck for 10's pass

What really matters more than long gears is the FD. whether its a 4.4 or 4.7 would matter most. Lot of people talk about LS this and Y21 taht and S1 there alost the same to me....mess with some big slicks and then you gonna have know about gearing
Sounds like all you need is a 70shot of N20 to drive that baby home....then worry about breaking the record all turbo after

I really need to thank the guys from Honda Heaven. They brought me the cam cap and rocker arm I needed to get the car going again. Was not able to get a good 60' today so the 10's were not meant for this weekend.
your car is just plain sick - 10s can come on any one of the next passes on the car - now just gotta get some competition out there for you
