Im interested in possibly purchasing a brand new RSX soon, but not exactly sure when. I would like to know if you can get the 2005 rsx without that little spoiler thing on the trunk.. i tried looking on the acura.com site to see if there was any option to not get it and i didnt see anythiing.. in all the pictures of the 05 rsx i keep seeing that stupid little spoiler thing which i hate.. the car is beautiful until i see that.. can you buy the car without the spoiler?

 

doubt it, i believe it comes stock on the 05s.

Tell them to take it off at the dealer. They should do it for free.

this is of course dependant on how the spoiler is attached to the rear liftgate...i hope, like other lip spoilers it uses an adhesive, but then you never know...but they dont have an option for spoiler delete.

 

the spoiler comes stock, there is no option to have it or not. i think it looks very nice and clean on mine. plus i read an article in hondatuning that said the rear lip spoiler adds 50% more downforce on the rear than last years version without a spoiler
