but, im too lazy to go find a old brake pad thread, so ill start another, i know this subject has been covered a bazillion times before but i know yall are of mild temperment and wont mind
anyway here goes, after my brake upgrade not even 6 weeks ago, i have almost gone through my front pads hawk HP+'s i have a set of carbotechs set aside for race day(if my car ever hits the track
) but i digress, im open to new ofions in a high street pad, something that is rotor friendly, anyone have any experience with project mu or endless pads? its not necessarily simple to change my rotors otherwise i would use the carbotechas on the street, again TIA and sorry for possable duplicate thread

I use Carbotech Super Street F compound (not sure if they still make it, it may have been replaced with the 912 Silver compound) and I like them. More bite than stock, they work well cold, and damn good when warm. They do squeak a little bit under light pedal pressure. Nothing horrible by any stretch.
Basically, I like them for the street, and they should do well in auto-X.

BONKERS!
Um, Todd Reid uses the " Pep Boys Raybestos Ceramic Enhanced QS Nascar Select on his Accord Wagon calipers. You may want to get with him on them, but I hear they have a lifetime warranty.

If you don't autocross the car, I'd just put some kind of cheap pads on the car. The Raybestos pads that Todd mentioned sound like a good thing. Hell, I ran the better part of the 1999 autocross season on some Wearever pads (10 bucks or so from AutoZone) and they actually weren't that bad.
Porterfield...When you care enough to pay the very most. But actually, the R4S pads have worked real good for me on street and a season of autocross. I now put the R4 pads on the front for track days, but leave the R4S ones on in back. Several instructors have commented on how well my car stops.

How did you go through Hawk HP+s in 6wks?? I had them on my car for almost a year, i did TGP w/ them and several autoxs, they still had 1/2 a pad left on them when i took them off, because they warped my rotors and i don't need race pads for the winter time.
