Time for brakes
Regardless of rotors condition, I'm tossing them this month and getting Brembo Blanks w/ Axxis Pads...same as I did on my Civic.
One problem. I've never preformed work on my Accord. I got a lil' more $ on the pay check, so I got lazy and started to have a local shop do the work (lowering and axles so far)......
.....So my problem is, the mechanic their doesn't want to replace the rotors on my Accord. He said it's to hard/much of work for him. I've been told before that this isn't easy as a Civic brake job.
Should I consider this a DIY brake job (no power tools here either, just muscle and wrenches). If not, how much should labor shrink my account?....and should I buy my parts still or just get what ever parts a brake place or even Honda has to offer? I know if I go to Honda with Brembo and Axxis they won't touch it.
I got two weeks to figure this out before I'm going to order my parts. Thanks guys.

Accessing the rotors requires removal of the wheel knuckle. No problem once you've got the knuckle loose, but you have to separate the tie-rod joint, upper and lower ball joints to get the knuckle loose. Special tools required to do this w/o damaging the rubber boots. Some auto parts (AZ, ORiellys) may have the tools.
good luck

Thanks. I'm going to get a manual for my Accord tonight. I'd rather get my hands dirty first. Soap is a lot cheaper to get the grease off my hands, rather than shelling out hundreds in labor.
its not that its hard...its just that its a bitch. i did it today....oh what fun! make sure you have some air tools because they will help you A LOT! ball joint seperator is a must, and i used a erm wheel seperator? wasn't my tool so im not sure, but i think its what its called, but it helped push the axle out without having to bang on it. take your time.... its a piece of cake, and you'll do fine
Two words "brake team" $99.99 and they install your rotors and pad in less than an hour. Take your rotors and pads, but they won't warranty them, just labor.
Now, after I watched them doing my brakes I learned it's very easy if you have the right tools. I just did them today in less than 2 hours, not bad for my first time. I got airtools and that nice punch screw driver to loose those very tight screws that hold the rotors. I should've taken pics. Tomorrow, grab your tv, some beers, some friends and make it a fun DIY adventure. Good luck
