I have a valve cover bolt on a d15 vx engine brake off. I know you can drill on it with a reverse bit but any other options? Just bought the car and waiting to finish my h22a engine to swap in.

also i have a missfire hard when i put a load on the engine. at first i thought it was the clutch but it only happens when the car warms up. i have changed plugs which were fouled at the botton of plug with carbon so i'm thinking ignition problem. ngk v power plugs
changed wires to omni
changed dist cap and rotor borg warner and i just bought a coil replacement borg warner i getting ready to install.

the engine has 155k on it and body.

i have changed oil 10-30/05-40 wieght mixed with lucas lubercaints
this happend on the first gas tank of the car too. so this sucks
i ran 91 octane on it maybe that to much.

but when it warms up it miss fires hard when i get on it and then die's down about 3-4k but is still there. I also chagned fuel filter but the original one took off the holes on the bolt lined up with the out let tube to the engine. this one is about 45' off the intake line but i did see a little resorvoir grooved in the the outlet attachment so i did't worry that much. but i'm going to change it to the old one just to check and i'm got to put in the coil if the filter doesn't check out right and can anyone get a service manual for this not chilton I need more specific 92 civic vx.
i know helms inc has them but there $60 i know people sell them on cd but i need a book and not a replica or copy. let me know what you guys think? 913-638-2786 is my cell so if you can help with the problem let me know.

Also this is my first posting. I help my uncle run jdm warehouse. so if you guys need anything don't hesiate to ask. Engines b-series-h-series some type-r s200o motors f20c, body Parts and clips, ect....

i have some used 92-95 tein flex dampeners for 450 plus shipping. Just a thought.

i just ran a tru ignition sensitivity test and all wires are firing fine.


while running i pulled the one wire out at a time then replace to see if the engine would lose power. all lost the same amount of rpms of power.

so i will change filter and post back.

how do i post pics i got a digital

 

check to see if you wires a fine, check thier resistance.

replace spark plugs (NGK), cap and rotor then report in.

 

yea i just replaced everything new spark plug wires cap and rotor.

ok it won't let me post anymore but i did the test drive....and.......victory.

no missfire now i have that valve bolt
