My car is acting up and being quite odd. My brakes work great and bring to a stop quickly. However numerous when sitting in traffic my car will be at a stop (ie red light, stopped in traffic etc). Slowly my brake pedal will depress all the way to the floor and then my car will very slwoly roll forward or backward (depending on incline). So I thren lift my foot off of brake and depress it again and it stops moving. What could be causing this problem?

 

check brake fluid.. bleed brakes, check vaccume hoses, to brake booster...

 

If there are no visible leaks on your wheels etc, could be a failing master cylinder.

 

YEah i saw no leaks, how much do masters run?

 

you seals are prolly bad in master. If you had line locks you could point out a bad master really quick

if you master is not getting low on fluid and you got no leaks on your calipers or break lines, then it's defently your primary seal
