I am down to the last part of the swap, wiring for vtec. Everything is all in place.
it's an HF, it's MPFI so no conversions there. However i have the 4 infamous wires to get done. I have searched and downloaded all of the Picstures of how to pull the subharness apart and run the new wires. I know about applying the new one, and replacing the 2 existing wires.
However one of the wires runs to Fuse box under the hood. it says to just *snip* it. I guess it's for the HF ecu to tell it, "hey car youre in reverse" Can i still just cut it and run the new wires. I'm stumped, actually more nervous to just start cutting wires.
Also does anyone know where ALL the writeuips for this part of the swap went. I was on google for 2 hours. It seems like all the writeups i had, just fell off the face of teh earth. If anyone has these writeups or knows the good threads please throw them down.
I also need the part numbers for the male/female pins in the ecu so i can do a clean *plugging in*
