I'v been having a sputtering problem now for 4 days. No codes were thrown untill last night.

I was under the hood trying think. Then something told me to check the ECU again.
Low and behold, i was getting a code 10!! (code 1 has been running for ever and a day mind you.) So i get all excited and say hurray!!

Then, i realize i don't know what a code 10 is. I do the research and turns out it's a vehiecle air intake sensor. Duh!

What the **** is a Viehcle Air Intake Sensor?
Is it contagious?
Is it that stuff that grows between your toes?
Could this be whats causing the sputtering?
What does it look like ? And where in the car is it located?
Please help?
