Default ls vtec or poors mans R

which motor would be better with wiseco high comp pistons, rods, and other bolt ons?

Well I could be wrong but from expereiences you cant compare the reliability of a type r vs lsvtec.

thanks, i have all the parts 2 do either but only 1 head, so i didnt know which 2 do, i woudl like either but ive never had a built motor only gsr

i have wiseco 11.8:1 compression pistons, eagle forged rods, toda headgasket, itr cams, so idk which could produce the best hp to torque ratio

no matter how u go the motor is only as good as u want it to be and the amount of cash u have,, i had a b16a2 with 12.1 that ran 10,000rpms with no problem, i have a ls vtec turbo that ran 10lbs own stock up to 9,200 rpms no problem u just have to pick something and take care of it.. and check the oil it;s sad that a 1$ qt of lube can kill a 10,000 motor,, lol.. at the end u will never be able to sell it for what u have in it, so have fun,, and get what u want,,
