I was just wondering how you guys like the J's intake. I am thinking about getting one myself. What are the advantages and disadvantages (if any) of the J's intake. Thanks

I rock the J's. It has excellent throttle response and is a good power maker. The only disadvantage I can think of is the heat soak because of the short ram design. I don't notice it when I'm driving around but I am looking into building some sort of heat shield enclosure. I would recommend it.

Pics in an EF:

I had my engine dyno tuned with a 3 inch APC intake with K and N filter and then with the J's intake. The APC beat the J's from 5k to 7k, but the J's had a slight advantage from 7100-8900.

That might be because you have a Civic. Anyone else run into clearance problems with their whale *****?
