Default 6-speed sohc trans-

I chose to place this in this forum so it would get more attention...if you read the last paragraph or so in this article, Larry mentions he uses two trans, one of which is a 6-speed close-ratio trans from argentina. The motor to which such is attached is, of course, his d16a6. This article is from 1998.

Anyone hear of this? I know several years ago, i was searching for a 6-speed option and came up with nothing...

i have contacted larry via pm and hope to get an answer.

Don't trust anthing you read on that site it is full of B.S. Go read about the supercharger that has been in production for about 47 years. It puts out 400whp on the stock bottom end and for good measure it has a programable traction control. Oh wait I almost forgot about the B20 that puts out almost 300whp unsleved.

Yeah they dont know anything. Did you hear about the 12.9:1 H22 that put out 290WHP on pump gas? And even have dyno graphs to prove it?
They must be really full of it to do something like that!

Only 6 speed trannies Ive heard of are the sequential ones like Pappy used in his hatch back in the day...

If you really want a 6 speed,I suggest going with K swap. Much Cheaper and more practical..

Yeah they dont know anything

Don't put words in my mouth. I have heard good things about their pistons and I am sure he is very knowledgable. but do a gooogle search for endyne and see all the people who got screwed pop up. If he makes good products he should not have to lie to make friends (supercharger and b20).

1. The supercharger is no longer in development due to legal issues with a couple OEM supercharger companies.

2. The 400whp was on a FULLY BUILT motor.

3. A lot of those "issues" came from a big dispute Endyn had with another builder.

Cool I am good with both of your answers, but it does not say that on the site.

I did not post to slam on endyne, but they tend to make claims on their site that will never be backed up.

Well there is a link somewhere on the site(maybe on the BBS) to an article about his Civic in Hot Rod. That car is still his daily driver BTW.

The reason I know about the supercharger is because I was curious about why it was taking so long, so I PM'ed Larry about it and he told me why they had to stop development.

Just talked to Larry and he says the company doesn't currently have plans to produce any more. They were 6 speed sequential boxes.
