1. It's going to make almost no difference.

2. I think it's obvious just by reading what you stated that the slight difference you do see would be less power with the larger wheels. Why was it even necessary to ask this question?

Yeah, of course it's going to be less power on a , and probably measurable. 3-4 HP maybe.

Taller wheels usually means higher moment of inertia, even if the weights were the same. Like when a figure skater spins slowly with her arms out, and then spins faster with her arms pulled in. Even with the same weight, her moment of inertia was lower with her arms pulled closer to the axis of her rotation.

Is this a trick question?

Your motor will still make the same power if you had 20inch bling or 15inch- 8lbs wheels.

Now as for what take less strain to get the power to the ground... just use your head

It isnt a trick question, there will be a difference if hes on rollers (obviously a dynapak wouldnt make a difference). I wouldnt say much though in your case...a few whp if that.

Now, 20's on the other hand...

Well, it's not a well worded question... But I'm sure he meant :

"Which set of wheels will allow me to measure more power from my car on a chassis dynamometer, such as Dynojet? If I had paid attention in high school physics, I wouldn't have had to ask. If I had paid attention in English class, I might have put together a single complete sentence in my post."

Sorry if English is your 2nd language.

I only take things on the WWW at face value, its rather hard to read between the lines Unless I know the person.
